The Tommy Toothbrush Way
Tommy Toothbrush is a trained actor dressed up as a giant toothbrush who talks to young
children in a very entertaining way about:
1. Brushing correctly and regularly
2. Eating healthy food
3. Going to the dentist
4. Daily flossing
Thousands of children from preschool to 3rd grade have met Tommy. Feedback from the youngsters, their parents, their teachers and the sponsors underscores a single theme:
Tommy entertains, but—-most importantly—he educates and the kids like what they hear.
Sponsorship of the program can take a number of different routes. Sometimes it is a practicing dentist who wants to give back to the community or, it may be the project of a dental society. Sometimes it’s a socially responsible business or a professional organization or a school group like the PTA or PTO. Sometimes the sponsor is a foundation.

1. We schedule the show and arrange for Tommy to be on site
2. We provide dental educational materials for each child…toothbrushes too!
